5 Week Hatha Yoga Beginner’s Foundation Course: 7pm, Tuesday 11th March 2025

Hatha Yoga is the practice of moving through a series of postures (Asanas) while working with your breath (Pranayama). Classes start with gentle centring practices focusing primarily on the breath. You will be guided through a series of physical postures, learning as you go how to use your breath to support your practice.

This beginner’s yoga class will prioritise alignment, the building of strength, flexibility and balance for each of our individual body types. However, as these yoga foundations are laid, you will begin to experience more “flow” as you move from posture to posture. Class will close with a short period of yoga relaxation (Shavasana).

This class is suitable for people at all stages of their yoga journey from beginners to those with previous experience of yoga. Postures will be modified as necessary according to body type and ability.

Your instructor Suzanne is passionate about creating that safe space for her students and will work with where you are in your yoga journey.
